What a Wicked Gang Are We

Hey world. It's 2:21 AM, Lubbock time. Yes, I'm writing a late night blog, again. Tuesday morning now, French Culture at 9:30 followed by Calculus discussion at 2ish.

Anyway, what did I do last weekend? I cleaned the highway, part of Adopt-a-Highway program with the Texas Tech Cycling Team! It was supa-fun. I found many interesting things on the highway. List of things we found:
1)Panties
2)Condoms, still in the box, not expired
3)6 packs, unopened
4)Regular trash, soda cans, beer cans, McDonalds
5)Tuna sandwich
6)cheap porn magz
7)Chains
8)Tires
9)License plates
10)Dead mouse, wrapped in cotton, and
11)Bird, just the skin

After spending 4 hours cleaning up the highway, we hit Buffalo Wild Wings to chill. I order 18 traditional wings, Hot BBQ. Couldn't finished it, and decided to save it for dinner. Note to self (and to you guys): DO NOT eat cold wings for dinner. It sucks. Taste like cold tires. Cold, flat tires.

Speaking of cold, Lubbock is insanely cold right now. Okay, maybe not that cold, but it's pretty cold for me. Actually, it's not that cold, but it's just that I love to ride my bike, and going 20 mph on a bike into the cold just makes it colder. I like cold, I just hate dressing up for it.

What else

I can't think of anything right now

Oh, finals start this Friday, with French Culture and Calculus. Then Pol Sci on Monday, then I'm effin done!

In case you guys are wondering, the title of this blog refers to Streetlight Manifesto's song. They're awesome

First blog!

Hey what's up people. So yeah this is my first blog, ever. Everyone's doing it, so I thought why not give it a shot. It's 2:49 AM right now, Lubbock time. For those of you who don't know where Lubbock is, I congratulate you because apparently you're busy with your life and don't have time to look up the biggest small city in West Texas. I came down here to attend Texas Tech University, a somewhat major university in Texas. Raider Power!

What else

I'm a big city kid. Spent a good 8 years of my life in a small city of Lhokseumawe, Indonesia, then moved to Jakarta to learn the reality of this God-given world. I didn't learn anything back in Lhok, because I was too little. Jakarta is where I grew up. Jakarta opened my eyes. Jakarta taught me life, liberty, and happiness.

Dad got a 3 year assignment to Houston, so I tag along with him. Actually, my whole family tag along with him. Jakarta opened my eyes, but Houston defined me as a young adult. It is in Houston where I learned about cultures, norms, and everything in between. It is in Houston where I learned to balance the American ways, Indonesian ways, and the ways of my Muslim faith. Houston, is where I found myself.

Anyway, enough about me. I'm gonna try to update this blog often. Hopefully.

Until next time
